The truth nowadays, is not what is but what others can be convinced of.

Today is Valentine’s Day, a special day, when we should love not only our family but everyone, even as, through god, we can be guided, by the holy spirit to live with love despite our failings. For God loves you even while asking for nothing and refusing you nothing (He has already promised you.)

Love is preached in all genuine religions, for it is the only key which unlocks the truth and lets you in. Love is a condition that occurs when the happiness of another person, and (m)any persons is necessary to your own love (for them.)

The greatest commandment is that you must love everyone, even your worst enemies; because it is easy to love your wife and children and friends, it is natural, but to love your enemies is to call upon the holy spirit for you need divine love to be able to love even those who have done you wrong and have lied to you and others about you.
The root to divine love is truth, which is found in everyone but you cannot find love without freely accepting it and the holy spirit with it. You can’t be and never are, brought to love by force but by the divine faith and grace of the holy spirit and without it we (all) are lost and will perish in disharmony.

The easiest way not to seek the truth is to believe that the truth does not exist, when we all know that it does and, like love, we will waste away unless we live in and with the truth.

Even the Devil, the father of all lies, can mix half-truths with lies but we must be gripped by the truth on a level beyond our own thinking until, finally, we can speak only the truth, forevermore.

Donald Trump’s answer, in the past, to many news reporters questioning him on something he did not wish to answer was a bewildering, multi-faceted, actor’s face and then, in a quick barking tone, he would yell at them: “Fake news, fake news, that’s fake news.”
     Well, guess what, pretty soon it’s going to be, strictly: “Fake Internet, fake internet.” Don’t believe me, just watch:

Conversation, coming from the office of the POTUS:
“You have how many likes on Twitter”
“Mr. President, we have over six trillion likes on Twitter?”
“What. Did you say six trillion? With a T?
      “Six trillion yessir, I said six trillion? With a T? On Twitter.? On your account, sir.” The computer technician, a low-level subordinate to the undersecretary of Homeland Security’s undersecretary to computer studies and making points with Donald Trump Jr.s secretary to the undersecretary’s points-plus computer programming bonus-points program, the only program that led to a meeting with the Donald Himself, in person, replied to the Donald, now: “Ah, yessir, you see, sir, it’s actually robotically controlled.”
     The Donald, the POTUS Himself, smiled hugely, as only he could do. “Do tell six trillion, with a Tee, I like that, I like that. And, it’s on my account, my personal account? Like I ordered you people to do months ago?”
     “Ah, yessir, you see the bots automatically now multiply every actual like: by 10,000, so you can see that that makes it …”
     “Oh yes, I can see that, how big, how huge, absolutely HUGE that will make it. well! Well-well. I like it, I really like it. So, we had Eight trillion? And, it’s fool-proof, no one can catch us. I mean, you can’t break the codes, you can’t …”
     “That’s correct sir, we’ve been working on it ever since your order, ah, two months ago now sir?”
     “My order?”
     “Ah, yessir, you remember when Disneyland’s Donald Duck got more likes than you did sir, ah-er when he ah-er, ran for president and …”
     “Okay, alright, I remember THAT and it’s foolproof you say, nobody can break the codes correct?”
     “Ah, yessir, that’s correct, that’s guaranteed, out best computer scientists all agree that you can in no way be implicated in any collusion in …”
     “COLLUSION! That word cannot be used anymore… I gave a presidential HUGE ORDER to …”
     “Ah, Mr. President, Mr. President,” Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, said, sticking her head inside his office, the press are waiting, sir, they are getting very antsy and …”
     Donald Trump jumped up from his desk and literally ran for the entranceway to the briefing room, than barged inside. Questions were immediately flying in his direction but he held his hands up and smiled wickedly: “Hold it please, hold off here: I have an announcement, this is a historic announcement and it must be heard; you may not believe it, as I didn’t at first but then … realizing how great, how absolutely GREAT I AM and how great everyone around me is, just by being close enough to touch me, if I let them, you understand, and understanding that so many others can see and believe, BELIEVE, I speak only the GREAT truth and that is just this: Ladies and gentlemen of the press and all viewers out there watching this historic broadcast I wish to announce that today at, at uh-um, (looks at watch) approximately 1:30m PM we, ah-er, I, I, Donald J. Trump, the President of the United States, got six, ah-er-um, (looks at paper) six, that’s six trillion, that’s trillion with a T, a capital T likes on my Twitter account, yeah, you can check it as I’m sure all you FAKE NEWS journalists will, I got six trillion lemme see, ah, here, six trillion, six-hundred and sixty-six billion, six-hundred and sixty-six million, six-hundred and sixty-six thousand, six-hundred and sixty-six HUGE likes on my Twitter account, yeah my own personal account … oh, this is HUGE, this is HUGE … I have six-hundred and sixty-six trillion, six hundred and sixty six billion, six-hundred and sixty-six million, six-hundred and sixty-six thousand, six-hundred and sixty-six …
     “Mr President … Mr. President …”
     The reporters continued yelling questions towards Donald J. Trump but he ignored them, even when they yelled that it was “fake numbers,” and even when one reporter yelled out the algorithm that his computer mathematicians had used. He couldn’t stop his mouth from running over with the numbers, he was fascinated with the numbers and couldn’t stop saying them … over and over … even as flashbulbs that would record the beginning of the downfall of his presidency, combined with his being found guilty the previous month for colluding with the Russians to rig the election in his favor, he couldn’t stop shouting the numbers; numbers he knew, he just knew, as only someone as great as he was could have on his Twitter account.
     The reporters were in a frenzy now, even as Trump paid them little mind, using one of his well-worn-out diversion tirades: “Look at the numbers,” he screamed: “only someone as GREAT as I AM could have these numbers … only someone as …”

Why are we so divided: why are our friends posting stuff on Facebook and Twitter that makes us mad?

Why are republicans so far to the right? Why are democrats so far to the left? Why are so many married people fighting with each other? Why are preachers, avowed Christians, Catholics and other Christian denominations as well as Jews, Muslims, Hindu’s, Buddhists, Atheists, Agnostics, Seventh-Day Adventists, Mormons and assorted smaller denominations, of which there are literally thousands, all becoming so much more divided? Many are preaching (on behalf of) politics and are dividing even many of their own congregation(s). And my question, is a plain and simple why? Why are so many human beings becoming hostile towards one another?

I just got through watching 60 Minutes and saw a segment on A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) and came away dismayed that the prediction(s) for the development of this (artificial) intelligence is first of all predicted to replace 40% (or more) of menial, as well as some higher-up trade-skilled, jobs. That’s a lot of jobs to lose to (a) machine(s).

To go back in time what have caused the majority of the wars in this world? Disallowing any way-back wars, the primary reasons for WWI were militarism, alliances, imperialism and nationalism. If that last term sounds familiar it’s because Donald Trump and many of his followers as well as some political constituents use the term as a badge of honor, Trump claiming he always puts America first and thereby is a Nationalist; disallowing, I guess history, as he so often does. For an example, David Duke, a former leader in the Ku Klux Klan was narrowly defeated in a run for governor of Louisiana in 1991 and Steve Scalise, the 3^rd ranking House Republican leader, gave a speech in 2002, for David Duke. Why? Anyone remember Barry Goldwater, a senator from Arizona who was going to blow Vietnam off the planet by dropping an atomic bomb on them?

So, back to wars and what role nationalism plays in them: everything. Call it nationalism or ethnic, civic, expansionist, romantic, cultural or even Revolutionary nationalism it is still nationalism and, by any name, it causes wars because it is more accurately defined as a group of people, like the Ku Klux Klan, who use lies, racist language, bigotry and extremism to build up a large group of people who ‘follow the leader’ as if hypnotized by him (in this case Trump) to divide and conqueror. In other words to disallow all other ‘groups’ but theirs, thereby almost always ending in an argument, leading to a fight, leading to a movement, leading to a cause, leading to an elected (Trump) official declaring a national emergency to remove this group and then that group and then leading to a war, where many millions of people are killed, or in this case, annihilated.

Donald Trump has already made it known that he ‘respects’ leaders like Vladimir Putin, of Russia, Kim Jung-Un, of North Korea, Rodrigo Duterte, of the Phillipines, a man who called former President Barak Obama a “son of a whore,” and now claims he “likes” Trump, while other world leader’s like Recel Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Kazakhstan’s “president for life” Nursultan A. Nazarbayev, Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban, and Marine Le Pen, of France all have two things in common: they are all authoritarian’s dictators or wanna be’s and they, also, all have a “love affair” with Donald Trump, a wanna be himself.

How this ever became true in the avowed “freest” of all free countries, has many political experts,

lawyers, law professors, legal scholars, military experts, writers, etc. scratching their heads and, hopefully, someone can provide an answer that could have Trump impeached before a war that could end life on this planet, breaks out.

And, oh yeah, my original question stands: why, oh why, are we, human beings all, arguing so much?

These wars are ongoing to this day; we have global warming, a nut-case in North Korea willing to use nuclear weapons and soon to have them to use, we have millions of people here in America, with no health insurance, little or no money, many unemployed or employed with a salary that barely makes their rent and food money, children dying from drugs “inherited” from their parents, an opiate crisis, and so many other problems that we could all work on together to solve but then, we have a POTUS, who is so fixated on the fact that he and his associates colluded with Russians in order to rig an election: an election may I remind you that he actually got less votes than his opponent in but still was declared the winner.
And so, to divert attention away from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who has now gotten enough evidence to convict him, he declares that our “border crisis” is so important that he will soon call it a national emergency and deploy troops for the fence he is having soldiers now build; a fence that will block the criminals, heathens, barbarians and invaders across the border from entering his walled-off USA, a country that once welcomed all travelers who were in danger in their countries, as well as their children.
This is a manufactured ‘crisis’ that has now become Donald Trump’s way of hurting foreigners who should be welcomed and given work or visitors visas to see if they wanted to become citizens, the whole idea of immigration in this so-called “civilized world.” But, unfortunately Donald Trump, a rich kid who has the learned the ways of the rich, hires lawyers to do his ‘legal’ lying’ for him. People like former mayor of New York, Rudy Guiliani, who has, in Donald Trump’s name, as his mouthpiece (aka lawyer) made this statement: “Truth is not truth.” Enough said and may peace be upon us all in this god-forsaken world.
